Support our schools -- attend the Cottage Grove Fall Festival
9/21/2003 - Joyce Hastings, Cottage Grove Economic Development Corporation
The PTO's annual Fall Festival, Sept. 27, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., at Taylor Prairie School, promises family fun. The proceeds benefit Cottage Grove students.

The PTO's Fall Festival is its major fundraiser, last year bringing in more than $14,000 in six hours.

Attactions include an inflatable obstacle course and jumping castle, carnival games for all ages, human bowling, a cake walk, kids' tattoos, spin art, and a White Tiger Tae Kwon Doe demonstration. Refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Back by popular demand, the silent auction is bigger and better, thanks to the many generous businesses supporting the event. More than $14,000 in items were donated for this year's festival. For a complete list of silent aution items, visit the Taylor Prairie's Web site at www.mononagrove.org/locations/taylorprairie/pto_festival.htm.

More than 100 volunteers are needed to run the six-hour event. To volunteer, contact Ann Manz, 839-1560, for more information.
